Rodney Foxworth is a nonprofit manager and writer. He is program manager at Job Opportunities Task Force, an independent, nonprofit workforce intermediary that develops and advocates policies and programs to increase the skills, job opportunities, and incomes of low-skill, low-income workers and job seekers. He oversees the JumpStart Pre-Apprenticeship in the Building Trades, a workforce development program that prepares disadvantaged Baltimore City residents for entry-level careers in construction. His writing has appeared in The Baltimore Sun, Baltimore City Paper, Urbanite magazine, and Baltimore Brew, among other publications.
