Odette Ramos is the president and CEO of Strategic Management Consulting, LLC, a small business she founded in February of 2005. SMC works with non-profits, city agencies, small businesses and community organizations to be more efficient and effective through strategic and business planning, organizational and structural transformation, and more. Ramos ran for City Council for the first time in the 12th District this past election season, coming in second out of seven candidates. Her commitment to this city started when she came to Baltimore 20 years ago to attend Goucher College. She is active in her neighborhood association and sits on five boards, where she is chair of two of them (Community Mediation, Inc, and the Baltimore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce) Her knowledge of Baltimore and work that can be done comes from her experience with her client groups that are doing excellent work in Baltimore, as well as her activism in various neighborhoods and on various issues across Baltimore.
