Jane Henderson
Jane Henderson is Executive Director of Maryland Citizens Against State Executions, a statewide organization that has grown in size and impact since she took the helm in 2004. She is a chief architect of Maryland death penalty repeal strategy, which won establishment of the Maryland Commission on Capital Punishment in 2008 and dramatically narrowed Maryland’s death penalty law in 2009, with the passage the most restricted evidence requirements in capital prosecutions in the nation.
