Brenda McLaughlin is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the National Summer Learning Association. McLaughlin’s passion is strengthening connections between research, policy, and practice. She is a recognized expert in the field of summer learning, regularly speaking to out-of-school-time professionals and the media. McLaughlin earned a master’s degree in public policy from Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
