Becky Wagner is the Executive Director of Advocates for Children and Youth, a statewide organization working to strengthen public policies so that all Maryland children are safe, healthy, educated and secure in their families and communities.

Wagner served as the Executive Director of Interfaith Works from 1999 until 2010. Interfaith Works is a coalition of 165 congregations directly addressing the needs of Montgomery County's low income residents through service, education and advocacy. Prior to joining Interfaith Works, Wagner worked in association management with the Consumer Healthcare Products Association for three years and served on the staff of U.S. Senator Paul Sarbanes (retired) for 7 years. In 1982 she started the Rainbow Place Shelter for Women, the first shelter for homeless women in Montgomery County.
