Adam Schneider


Adam Schneider is Coordinator of Community Relations at Health Care for the Homeless (HCH), where he works to advance the agency’s policy agenda and on community initiatives related to issues of health and homelessness. Prior to working at HCH, Schneider was a case manager for people experiencing homelessness in Baltimore City. He has pursued graduate studies at the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland’s School of Social Work. In addition to his work at HCH, Schneider teaches courses on public policy, social theory and philosophy at several area colleges and universities.

Health Care for the Homeless was pleased last month to release a new report exploring the relationships among homelessness, incarceration, and re-entry in Baltimore. Student interns, HCH staff, and dozens of people who have themselves experienced homelessness and incarceration spent long hours listening to more than 400 men and women who had been released from jail or prison within the past ten years.
